LOGGERHEAD TOOLS: Dan Brown, founder and CEO of Loggerhead Tools (a Strictly USA supplier) recently was forced to lay off 30 or so workers in Pennsylvania after he "lost" his biggest account, Sears. Loggerhead had an exclusive with Sears who agreed to sell Loggerheads American made Bionic Wrench. And sell they did: this time last year Loggerhead was booming and shifts were added to meet demand. This year though Sears dropped Loggerhead as supplier and it was soon discovered why. Sears had produced what they now deny is their own version of the Bionic Wrench, the Max Axxess wrench which is not surprisingly made in China. Even a non-engineer type person can see it's a blatant knock-off. Sears denies the allegations and will contest any accusations in court. Watch out Sears! This time Mr. Brown is not going without a fight. And he has plenty of supporters in his corner. READ MORE HERE... Strictly USA is proud to offer the still made in America line of Loggerhead Tools. They make a wonderful gift for Dad, brother or uncle. Or any do-it-yourselfer who likes to tinker and fix things.
